For the music marketing project we are ask to build a music brand from the ground, the groups is given a song they are required to use to build their brand on and make amusic video to the song. My group partners are Ava, Marcello, and Yoav and the song our group got assigned is "15 Steps" by Radiohead.
Brainstorming
The brainstorming process is the most important part of a project. My group started the project a bit slow with alot of procrastiantion, but we kept on working and caught up. For the brainstroming we came up with lots of ideas. The first step of all this was creating a band name. Our group wanted to have a meanigful name to out band since our band would be focusing on songs with alot of meaning and thought. The final name decided on by our group was "RaptUp" Rapt meaning completly facinated by what one is hearing and the Up part of the name to make it sound like wrapped up. After coming up with the name we decided to make a instagram to promote the band the @ is "@rapt._up". In the instagram we are going to make post teasing the song and music video realese. After that we decided to change the name of the song to revolution because the video is going to be about someone living their live the same and realising its not worth it at the end.
Whats Next?
The next steps to the project are recording the music video, editing, and executing all ourmarketing ideas.
